Just downloaded "Modern Combat 5" on to my android phone but i ran into this snag
"Error! No internet connection available. Please make sure your device is connected to the internet."

Problem or Goal:

This Game was designed to only load over a WiFi connection and can't load when you use your standard mobile connection (3G or 4G). By all means you have to have a WiFi connection.

Cause:

The internet data usage for this phone is very high especially when you have just downloaded it. all the new missions are loaded from the cloud and this is very rich graphical and media content, this make it's data usage very high, so to minimize the "phone bill shock" at the end of the month for those on postpaid data plans, the designers intended for this game to only load on WiFi since in most cases WiFI connections are billed on flat rates and often cheaper. some countries even have free WiFI. 

Solution:

Connect to a WiFi hotspot, that's the simple option.
if you have two Phones, you can turn one of them into a WiFi hotspot.

The other trick is to install a dummy WiFi connection on your phone, with this setup you will use your standard 3G/4G mobile data plan to load the game.
The turn-off is this setup is not straight forward + you have to root your android device. i wouldn't recommend this because if you are not careful you will likely brick your device.

Yes - Just load the game when connected to a WiFi hotspot

Error while loading google maps - Trying to use the a3 "Contact Us Page" plugin for WP

Problem or Goal:

Trying to use the google maps feature on the contact us page

Cause:


when you inspect the page element using your browser's debugger, you will see it all points to an issue with Google Map API key.

Solution:

1. Got to the a3rev "Contact Us" plugin

2. Click settings

3. Select Plugin Framework Global Settings

4. Filling the google map API if you already have one and are familiar with google API console. and if you don't follow this link to get started and create one.

GET GOOGLE MAP API KEY

5. Remember to restrict your API key to only your websites.

6. Go back to your plugin setting and filling the API you generated and click "save changes"

LG Fuzzy Logic 10Kg Top Loader Washing Machine - water enters and drains out - Doesn't start the washing cycle

Summary:

Am working with an LG Fuzzy Logic 10KG Top Loader washing machine (TurboDrum), it's new and i have been asked to test it.

The plumbing and power has already been installed by another person which was a bit unfortunate as you will later realize in this article, because my role was to test as a user and not end up troubleshooting the machine and plumbing. 

The cold water inlet plumbing was done perfectly, it's falling from a good height and the water supply pressure is good.

The challenge is water enters the machine fine but never fills, it instantly drains out (actually siphons out without being pushed by the pump).

Problem or Goal:

with the water siphoning out freely, the wash cycle doesn't start, the machine only agitates for about 8 seconds and gets stuck at some point after only 2 minutes.

Cause:

After hours of frustration and trying everything including a master reset, the problem cause was as simple as "bad plumbing".
The drain hose that drains the water out of the machine was installed lower than the drum level. so the drum will never fill.

Solution:

Follow the recommended operating manual, make sure the drain hose is hung up to a level higher than the drum filling level before operating the washing machine.

Problem Solved?

Yes, the drain hose was moved from down to a level up higher than the drum filling level, the machine was powered off and on again and it was able to fill and start the wash cycle. i have just finished my first round of laundry. good luck.
